Information about class activities is currently unavailble. Unfortunately the fella – Dr. Roger Bougton – who always led this parade passed away in early February of 2024. But stay tuned.
Persons interested in the history of the Lake Shore Electric Railway (which was the subject of a past podcast series) – “the greatest electaric railway system on the planet” may want to go to Amazon.com and purchase a book called “Images of Rail – Lake Shore Electric Railway”. It was put together by Thomas J. Patton with the help of my friends DENNIS LAMONT and the late ALBERT DOANE. It’d make a nice gift.

DAVE’S NEW BOOK: Views readers might remember Dave Schwensen’s humor column, “Something To Laugh About” that ran in the Vermilion Photojournal, Sandusky Register and others. Dave has chosen 144 of the columns that he still thinks “are funny” and compiled them into his new book of the same name. MARY WAKEFIELD BUXTON’S PREVIOUS BOOK (was) “Tripping: A Writer’s Journeys.”’Unfortunately Mary passed away in 2015 so signed copies of the book are no longer available.
NOTE: Mary did publish a new book (she called her “last book”). See the cover below. I’m not sure where either book is being sold. I would suggest looking for them on the Amazon site.
